What are Linear High Bay lights?
Linear high bay light fixtures are used to brighten big indoor
areas with high ceilings (normally 20 to 45 feet from the floor).
The large space between ceiling and floor necessitates that a
linear high bay light provide a high lumen output and the light
needs to be focused down and out from the fixture. Linear high bays
tend to be rectangular in shape as opposed to other types of high
bays that are round or “bell” shaped. They can be mounted directly
to the ceiling or hung with chains or cables.
